Conversion Kit
Purpose
- Upgrade in-service vacuum valve from apparatus group IIA to apparatus group IIB
- To prevent the passage of flames into the cargo tank of flammable vapour and gas belonging to apparatus group IIB
- Only suitable forĀ Pres-Vac vacuum valveĀ type HS-ISO-VAC
Installation
- Consists of duplex IIB wire mesh element flame screen
- Replacement of existing flame screen with a new flame screen approved for apparatus group IIB
- Check-lift the movable parts by pushing the check-lift knob
- Attending crew must be familiar with the normal friction in the system to evaluate if the parts move without friction
